The title for this 2018 solo exhibition in the Sassoon Gallery, Folkestone was inspired by a short story from Women Who Run with the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype by author and poet Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Ph.D. In this collection of folk tales, story tales and myths Estés takes stories from different cultures to dig deep into the female psyche and uncover the positive attributes of the Wild Woman archetype.
